Cred is mobile application founded by Kunal Shah founder of freecharge. This is a free app that alow you to pay credit card bill . This aap makes your credit card bill payment simple. It gives you exclusive offers and rewards for paying your credit card bill through it. It is available for download on iOS and Android platforms.
To access this app your credit score must be 750 or higher or else you have to join the waitlist. Its very easy to use. This app ask your mobile number and quickly check your credit score. It scan your mobile number and add credit card linked with that number.
How to use Cred App?
- You can install it from google playstore in your android mobile.
- After you complete installation, it will ask you mobile number. Just enter it and you will get an OTP. Enter OTP in cred aap.
- After you give OTP, it will check your credit score. If your credit score is more than 750 it will notify you.
- Now you can add all credit card linked with your mobile number which you have given. You can add maximum 10 credit card but you have option to add more.
- Next step is to verify your card details by adding in the masked numbers.
- Deposit Re 1 (through IMPS/UPI) to verify your credit card.
- After verification you can access the cred aap. You can pay credit card bills.
How to pay Credit card bill?
- In your mobile cred app log in to your Cred account.
- There will be ‘cards’ tab under it you have to choose credit card whose payment you have to make.
- Bill amount, minimum due etc. will be displayed on screen. Click on ‘Pay Now’ and enter the amount you want to pay.
- You will get various option to pay your bill. You can pay credit card bill through netbanking, UPI and debit card.
- If you wish to pay your bill through netbanking, you have to select your bank. You will be redirected to your bank website. You can enter your user id and password and complete the transection.
- If you pay through UPI, You have to link your UPI address and verify it before making your payment.
- If you pay through debit card, you have to enter 16 digit card number, cvv number, date of expiry and complete your transection.
- On successful transaction, you will receive a transaction ID for your reference. App wil reflect the amount paid.
Benefit of CRED app.
- You can add all your credit card in a single app. So you don’t have keep any other apps for your credit cards. Earlier if you have 10 credit card of different bank you have to keep apps for each bank. But now you don’t have to keep them. Because you can access all card in single app.
- On paying your credit cards bill you will get reward points. This is called ‘CRED’ coins. So you can redeem this reward ponts. There are various offers given in time to time for redeemption. This is called burning of cred coins.
- You have features like ‘Kill the bill’ which enables you to earn cashback towards repaying your bill.
- You can check payment history and upcoming bills of every card in single app. So you can pay your credit card bill on time. You will also get reminder for it.
